Yes, GRUUN is a truly Dutch brand, founded in Brabant. Today, you can find our products in kitchens across several European countries.
What does the name GRUUN mean?
GRUUN simply means green in several languages. Sustainable and as kind to our planet as possible.
What products does GRUUN offer?
GRUUN creates sustainable kitchen tools. We started with kitchen knives made from recycled steel, followed by kitchen textiles made from recycled cotton. And we're far from finished. Exciting new products are on the way, so keep an eye on us!
Are GRUUN products completely plastic-free?
Yes, our products are essentially completely plastic-free. We use sustainable materials such as recycled steel for our knives and 100% recycled cotton for our textiles. Our packaging is sustainable too: FSC-certified cardboard, kraft paper or PaperWise, printed using minimal ink. The only small piece of recycled plastic you'll find is the protective cover on the tip of the knife. This is there for safety.
Are GRUUN products free from harmful substances such as PFAS?
Yes, all GRUUN products are free from harmful substances such as PFAS. We follow strict guidelines and consciously choose safe, clean materials. Everything we make is food-safe, so you can cook, cut, dry and serve with peace of mind.
